Planting & Lighting Plan

The planting plan is created once the concept design has been established. It involves the actual plant selection for the landscaped areas of the concept design. The plant palette is selected in this design process and again, the process involves the discussion of your likes and dislikes, creating a very personal design. It is detailed for the type and size of the plant or tree, and the exact location for planting (see below). If you only require a new plant scheme, a planting plan can be done independent of the concept design.

The lighting plan is a design process that enhances the existing concept design and lighting plan. It creates illumination of selected landscape and hardscape features so the landscape can be enjoyed after dark. It can also be designed as a security feature. The lighting plan includes uplighting, downlighting, floodlighting, and accent lighting. See example below.
